In retrospect, I can certainly see how someone might be offended by the pictures with the Buddha statue in them. Honestly, at the time I took those pictures, I wasn't thinking about a religious icon, but simply an Asian motif.
Personally, I am an atheist, however I generally try to be respectful of all people's religions.
I sincerely apologize to anyone who was offended. The models themselves were not at fault, as I was the one who posed them there. Everyone was in a party spirit and it looked like a good prop at the time.
I doubt if there was a Jesus on a Crucifix, that I would have chosen that as a prop, more for aesthetic reasons than out of any religious concern.
Personally, I remember not liking the stickers on the statue, however again that was for aesthetic and not religious reasons. I probably wouldn't advocate cutting off anyone's hands over that though (it's that mentality in part, that makes me shun most religions).
Keep in mind that at an event like the EEB, there are lots of costumed people mocking nearly every religion (naughty nuns/priests), politician (clinton/bush/saddam), and every other institution imagineable. Plus there are lots of naked people. Basically, there is something for everyone to be offended by if you look hard enough.
Nonetheless, I again apologize, and will try to be more careful to avoid shooting erotic photos with any kind of religious iconography in them, and I will make a point of mentioning your concern to the promoters of the event.

No, it really does not offend me, but I am surprised that with so many Asians around that one of them did not notice. Surely one of them was Buddhist? Guess not.
