Don't go by daily results, but weekly, or even better, monthly results.

You might be 1:3000 one day with 3000 clicks then 1:200 another day with 1000 clicks. This would average out to be 1:666 with 4000 clicks. It takes volume to get real results. It might have just gotten lucky to get those 5 sales from 1000 clicks, and unlucky to only get one sale from 3000 clicks.

Of course this does not apply if you are sending 50k's of clicks per day. Then you can get an accurate impression sooner.
