CDSmith, if they are committed to running a good program *and interested in still working together* they both have to put aside whatever personal problems were there in the first place. If she was single and just making a new start in her life, I'd say - if they try, they'll make it. When there is a third party involved and animosity, I think the best thing is for business to be taken care of *read: pay the webmasters* and then both work on their own projects.
I commend NewBreed for being upfront with the affiliates - yes, it's also in his best interest for his own program/work in the future - but I think we've seen a few others blame non-payment on their rogue partners and start off with a clean slate. He's doing the opposite and for this, I have much respect.

Oh I'm pulling for the best outcome here, most definitely. But due to the finicky nature of affiliates and the tension in this thread I was just stating the way it could go. It doesn't have to go that way of course, there are choices. Let's hope those choices are good ones.
And GFX wiz's post was good. I would even say it was excellent.
