Apparently, you misread my post as to mean that the foreign webmaster should just use this job as their sole source of income. That was not what I was arguing. My point is that this is great supplemental income while the webmaster builds his own income streams from sponsor programs that pay them directly.
Moreover, you neglected to analyze the cost efficiency of hiring a helper [due to the large exchange rate] to maximize income.
I agree with you that someone from any country would earn far more working for themselves. But they also earn even more working for themselves AND taking on jobs like these. If anything, the extra jobs SUBSIDIZE expanding their business.
