I'd live in the United States. All the times I've been there, the people have been nothing but friendly. The only thing that would make me apprehensive about packing up and heading south is people like Jimthefiend. Now I'm sure he's fine in real life, just like all the other people I've interacted with in the US. But he's got some hardcore extreme ideas. Living in a country where people have such extreme idea's would make me a little uneasy. If I wanted to live where there's lots of extremism, you'd think I' have to move to the middle east or something. But as it stands, all I'd need to do is drive 40 minutes to the border
