OK - I was just making a sandwich and I started thinking about your situation for some reason.
It seems the only thing you have to offer at the moment is your content. Sell it.... and insist that its NOT to be used for promotion. Its for members area only. That way only you can promote with it and it stays reasonably fresh.
Use the money to get a designer etc or even barter and swap content for work.
Also sign for some affiliate programs and try to work out what they are doing.
You have survived your first 10 hours on GFY, and trust me after an introduction like yours thats got to be admired.
