I just spent more than a week in Pakistan doing what I can to help.
The news and various other media doesn't even come close to how bad it is. I ended up working at a hospital because I had first aid training. After 24hrs I was given the crash course in how to do amputations and by the third day I was mess... I cried my eyes out for 4 hours.
I'm at a complete loss for words. I have no way to describe anything that I seen or exprienced. Perhaps in a few days to come I might be able to do so.
I don't care what anyone wants to say. These are human being suffering the worst natural disaster recorded. It's not about goverments, religions or even just the children. (But seeing them hurts the worst.)
In the end, it is about 1 humanbeing needing help from another humanbeing.
If as a race there is any spark of divinity in us.
If as a species there is any redeeming quality to us.
Please give and do what you can for the victims of this quake.

If you have a family doctor... For love of all that is sacred speak to him about donating his time. More then money they need doctors.
They need Helicopters... So many could have been saved if they just had the damn helicopters.
And tomorrow they need tents... Winter is 5 weeks away.
