that did suck tho, i think shamrock is right in being upset... but, on the other hand, if the sport is to continue to gain acceptance and grow in 'mainstream' popularity then things like this are gonna happen so that way the general public doesnt go for the typical knee jerk reaction about hot its 'brutal and barbaric'... its not like it used to be in the early days of u.f.c. i remember seeing dan 'the beast' severn dropping knee after knee right into the face of oleg taktarov, opening him up very badly... blood was pouring out of olegs face as severn continued to drop the knees... nowadays though, you just simply cant allow a fight to continue to that point... but i still think shamrock had all right to be upset with the descision.... again, thanx for the link.. much appreciated.
