Yeah, you bring a flashlight otherwise it's pitch black and you don't know which way is up. I've only done a few night dives and none were very good visibility, but it's still fun... especially when you catch a big ass lobster. They're quick though so you really have to sneak up on them and when arms length, just pin it to the ground before putting it your bag.
