I was reading up on plasmas and dlp's. They seem comparable in terms of how long they last. And while you can replace the bulbs in dlp's supposedly the bulbs are almost as expensive as buying a brand new dlp. So it seems you have to replace both plasmas and dlps eventually and you're not much further ahead with either one. Personal choice I guess.
