Also, in the US, there are dozens of ways to borrow money for very low interest rates to repair storm damaged homes in declared disaster areas. It's not the best but if you're living paycheck to paycheck and don't have anything in savings for repairs, and you're living in an area you KNOW can get hit by a hurricane, you really can't ask for much more than what you bargained for.

Mexico isn't the US and even if it was like the US, our damage still wouldn't be covered. Before we moved to Cancun, we researched the area and the last major hurricane was way back in 88. It wasn't like buying ocean front property in Florida where they get hit regularly. If we had known the weather was going to change so drastically, maybe we would have chosen a different area.
We aren't selling this site because we live paycheck to paycheck....but when you have your money invested in other ways besides a typical bank account, you do what you have to do. We have had this site on the market for a while now and just decided that if we could sell it now, it may help out some people who really need it.
