Godless bastards. I cant even begin to understand how you ignorant twats can even begin to argue the political aspect of this conflict before you even begin to understand the underlying religious aspect of this problem.

Understanding the theological issues makes sense to someone who is sitting in the west watching the situation from afar, but what does it matter to the average palestinian not to mention the average muslim around the world.

After all the message of Islam and the Q'uran has changed so much since the 70's that they are now for all practical purpose worthless.

I am sure I do not have to give you a history of the Q'uran or of the formation of Islam and the history of Muhammad, however basic attitude changes must be said.

In the early 1900's when biographies of Muhammad were published they mention a different tale of his famous night ride - it describes his meating with Moses in heaven and how Moses helped him in his discussions with Jesus and God. These are told no more. The premis of the Jews and Christians being a people of the book is a premis that is slowly disappearing from main stream Muslim teachings.

The fact that the Q'uran specifically denies the murder of innocents or of children in any act of Jihad is also disappearing from the Muslim identity.

The fact that this war is about 2 groups of people who according to the Q'uran were once brothers who came from the same Father - Arbraham is also seen as now disturbing and not talked about.

The politics of Islam and the Theology of Islam are two ideas whose lack of backbone is allowing hundreds and thousands of innocent people to die each year.

No doubt the other side is just as guilty - but when an Isreali dies he knows why, when a Palestinian dies it is almost always because he is lied to and promised a paradise that will not exist for him.

I think that the best way to solve this problem is through the religious beliefs of both sides. Someone on the Muslim side has to stand up and say that it is against the will of God to kill innocent children - but what would happen to this person. Perhaps if enough Isrealis decided to somehow teach Arabic to the children on both sides of this conflict the true meaning of the Q'uran would star to be seen and heard - I dont think it will happen soon but it is an idea that must come into place.

After all how long can each side continue to produce generations of hatred.
