I am glad my family is in the nursing home business. Whatever medications they start doling out, we will be one of the first to get. They already make us take mandatory flu shots every year, and anyone that doesn't take one is not allowed to go to work if they get sick for 2 weeks. I think we actually keep a small supply of tamiflu on hand as well locked in the nursing fridge.
They also use our facility for giving out free flu shots to the public, so I'm sure they'll do the same in this case. I will be the first in line, knocking old people out of the way.
