Surfers have been tricked by CJ's, dialers, and blind links. They are bombarded with popups when they click any link that reads "FREE".
Youve got to think of a creative way to get the surfer to your sponsor. "click for free porn" just doesnt do it any more.

Good point. Another thing to add: "Click Here" is the final step in your "call to action." You have to use text before it explaining WHY they should click. Common ways are: 1) describe what the site has to offer 2) describe special offers etc
