AVN on the other hand has lost two great (Tina and Aly) people in a short amount of time, suspicious yes, but not unrealistic considering how many companies have high turnovers and Aly simply is one of the best and I am sure is still getting offers for other jobs - thebestporn.com is simply the best path for her at this time. What likley will result is that Aly once again will rise to the top, AVN on the other hand will have a short timeline of raised eyebrows - but what will concern them more is how to handle the even increasing rise in ticket prices and fewer webmasters attending - opting for smaller venues to get business.
I sincerely hope they find the right person(s) who is as diplomatic as Tina/Aly to handle the increasing backlash of rising show costs. |
Just to clarify something for you Robert-
Jennifer Rosenblatt- My sister in law was the VP of Sales for 9 yrs there-
she is NO LONGER THERE
Jeff Random/ AVN SALES- NO LONGER THERE
Tom Hymes= Editor AVN ONLINE=NO LONGER THERE
Kimberly Wilbur-AVN SALES= NO LONGER THERE
There are many more- but these are the people that most would recognize from this board-
AVN had a great run- but they'd have to be the most ignorant people in the world if they don't see their marketshare dwindling daily-
The sad part is all it would have taken to correct a lot of their bullshit would have been a simple "thank you" phone call to their supporters and advertisers through the past year-
Something I know my sister in law did plenty of when she was there. That's probably why everytime she goes to tradeshows she gets attacked by people telling her how bad AVN is now that she is no longer their and what a clusterfuck there office is now
