And I've seen about 4 cases where puppies have either bitten someone or have dug their claws into someone's leg and caused them to get stitched up.
Bottom line is that the dog should have been under control via a leash

The dog was leashed and under control, just because he is roaming doesnt mean I don't have control. I call him back he comes. Smelling a guys leg should not result in a cane across the skull. 'Shakes' was simply smelling the guys leg. Bottom line is the guy should not have smoked my dog in the head with his cane.
I have been bitten by a puppy before and recieved stiches in my brow. I am not about to go punting dogs across the road because they come up to me. If a dogs attacks me of course I will defend myself, but beating a dog for no reason is uncalled for and cruel.
I also have an uncle thats mentally challenged and has been living in a care home for 20 years now. One of the reasons I didn't knock him the fuck out.
