Locally, I frequently have Full Sail Ale, or McTarnahan's Amber Ale. There are too many really good pale ales and India pale ales made by local brewers to name them all. I think to a lot of Portlanders, your question is a puzzling one: with so many great beers to choose from, why give up adventure and limit oneself?

Seattle isn't too bad either for microbrews and we also get most of Portlands stuff.
I dig Mac 'n Jacks, Mirror Pond, ... too hard to pick a fav!
