Kinda funny, Journey would put out these treacly sacharrine sweet MOR 'rock' songs that were all tame and limp and then all of a sudden here comes this monster badass Neal Schon solo out of nowhere. I hate Journey but I would listen to the whole song just to hear Neal come stomping in and run over everybody.

Havalina, you just don't know when to quit do you?
neil schon was 16 when he was in santana - and old story goes that schon wanted to kick santana out of his own band.

greg rolie who was santanas keyboard player at the time left with schon to form journey.

tom scholz recorded most of the first boston record in his apartment with a little thing he invented called a the Power Soak. This power soak allows the amp to achieve great sound at low volumes and sounded as big as a wall of amplifiers, it was later was named the Rockman which was a little bigger than the size of a peanut butter sandwich and became a big selling and used piece of equipment in the 80's and is still used today.
