I have a full fare economy ticket from Tel Aviv to Chicago this saturday returning two weeks later.

I am a Platinum frequent flyer and I have 270,000 miles in my account.

I called the elite priority desk and asked to upgrade my ticket to business class. They told me that all flights (Tel Aviv - Newark, Newark - Chicago, Chicago - Newark, Newark - Chicago) are full and not only can I not upgrade, the waiting list for the upgrade is full (Why would a waiting list be full?!)

Fuck! I need a really strong sleeping pill.
