It amuses me when someone thinks so highly of themselves that they feel by taking a position that is so amazingly minority that they feel it makes them appear cultured, above the masses, even intellectual.
Love it or hate it any REAL music aficionado would know that even if you despise the sound the credit that can be given to this man for the profound influence he has had on the shaping of the modern "Rock" sound in nothing short of a phenomenon. For many years the EVH sound was the benchmark all others would be measured by and to say that Boy George is more compelling may be your personal taste but you description of "masturbatory bullshit" is ironic since I find your comment to be simply that....
