The biggest thing they will have in common in 10 years is that every American will be too embarrassed to admit they at any time supported the war in Iraq.
Cons are already jumping from reason to reason to support the war. WMD. Our Freedoms. Iraqi freedoms. You call them out on one thing and they don't even bother to defend it. They just move onto the next reason and hope you can't slam it.
The other day I was on the train and this guy kept going on and on about how the Iraq war was such a great thing because it protects our freedom here in the US. I finally spoke up and asked the guy to give me a scenario which had Saddam sending his army across the Atlantic to successfully invade America. Of course, he had no answer.
