How can something that has nothing to do with you boost your self-esteem? That's like being proud that you got an A+ on a test that you cheated on. I laugh when people congratulate girls on their great pair of FAKE tits, why are you congratulating them? They aren't theirs, they had nothing to do with making them great, congratulate the doctor, not the girl, she had nothing to do with it.
