Free things are good for the board. Post, views and community, not that GFY really needs it.
The object of a contest is to SELL product, but to sell product you need eyeballs, hense the post for prizes method that keeps bumping the thread.
I couldn't give away product without selling more than I give away and thread bumps are what it takes.
