Nah its all a time game man.
Company needs so much per hour no matter what is being done, be it actual fixing something or just driving there and showing up to turn on a piliot light the owner forgot about.
Typically the initial call/first hour is the most expensive then it goes down from there to around 60-80 bucks an hour.
Seems fucking crazy and ruthless but it is just how it needs to work. Fiance owns a landscape and yard service. Several customers have postage stamp sized lawns set for weekly service. Actual mow, blow, and edge time is about 10 minutes tops. Drive time, unload and load takes a little more than twice as long. Then many more have lawns that take a half hour to mow, blow, edge. Yet both types end up paying same rate. Just works out that way once you factor in all the costs to operate per hour regardless if your working or not.
