I dont think that this is a white issue but more of how the mainstream see black people. It was not so long ago that most of the mainstream thought that black people could not be serial killers, black women didnt get anorexia, black people couldn't golf - you know what I mean. I think that people dont look for it in the black community so they dont think it happens, but ask yourself this - do you know anyone who was molested by their creepy Uncle or their next door neighbour - of course you do - these people are the same as the white people you described above.
