If a college student just graduates with no experience, hire him/her and train in the unique environment called "your company" - you'll be happier in the long run, because that person will probably still be there.

6+ years exp - yeah I got all you need and then some and a little bit more, but I am just letting ya'll know you shoot yourselves in the foot looking for so much experience and not "ambition" and willing to learn zeal you get no where else but from a fresh college grad.

A college student can also have 6+ years of experience with programming. It is not required that he got his experience through a job.
