If no warning was issued and and say for instance there was an explosion, similar to what happened recently in London, somewhere on a subway train in New York, would you be here screaming and yelling that Bush never warned you? Yes of course you would.
I recognize there are shades of gray. Can you? Do you really think it's most probable that a vast goverment conspiracy is trying to scare people in New York in hopes that wrong doings will simply be forgotten? Do you make room for even the possibility there there could be information regarding possible attacks?

Actually I trust the NYPD more than I trust our president.
So what your saying is that he is covering his ass in case something happens. That's good to know.
If he was spending more time going after the people who attacked us rather than clearing Iraq for the oil companies,I would be fully behind him.
Having lived thru 9-11 personally, it disgusts me the way the republican party uses it for their gain. It shouldn't be used for anything political.
It should be used as a learning tool, so it won't happen again.
