To help re-establish your credit you can also go to your bank and ask for a secured $500 loan. You give them 500 they loan you 500 and then you make payments. Take the 500 they give you and go to another bank and do the same thing and so on until you have like 5 loans. Pay on them each month and in a year you should see your credit score improve.
