Prices for hosting will actually start to rise soon. The small resellers and cheap cogent and other peering asshats that have built their business models around over comits and being the cheapest are short lived. Quality hosting is a business and with any quality business there are costs and profits that have to be made. Under cutting the market has always and will always prove to fail in the long run, that's why sayings like "You get what you pay for" became a saying.
