It's a reference to conspiracy theorists. A lot of people only believe what they're force fed on TV, and to them, anyone who thinks what they say on TV isn't true is a conspiracy theorist. You'll hear the tinfoil hat bullshit at least twice every time you try to talk about ANYTHING that they don't talk about on TV. A lot of people are truly brainwashed.
No matter what happens in the world, a lot of people will believe the propaganda until the end. It's fucking pathetic.
I sincerely hope that Stephanopolis is right, if he is I hope that Fitzgerald has some serious security guards and is not planning on getting on any planes. They always kill people with plane crashes and fake suicides. I wouldn't be surprised if I woke up tomorrow to read that this prosecutor had "killed himself".
