I experienced some road rage once, the rage came from me.

I was in L.A. on a high traffic street waiting for a break in the traffic to make a left hand turn.

The guy in the car behind me started honking his horn. I continued to wait for a break in the traffic.

I felt his car slam into my car and even with my brakes on he was pushing my car into the oncoming traffic.

I put my car into reverse, put the petal to the metal, and began pushing back.

He stopped pushing and in my side mirror I saw him get out of his car. I too got out of my car and when we got close he swung at me and missed. I hit him twice, the first blow blood flew from his nose and I am pretty sure I broke it, the second blow and he went to sleep.

I got back in my car, waited for a break in traffic, and he was still unconscious when I made my turn.
