I'm not into incest, but I had an interesting discussion with a friend of mine about how messed up society's view on incest really is. It's not unusual for an adopted man and an adopted woman, neither of whom know who their biological parents are, to get together, get married and have kids. In fact, most people who were adopted don't know who thier biological parents were. So these people get together and without knowing it are actually brother and sister. And by society this is okay or it would be manditory for adopted children to have information on their biological parentes.
Yet, an adopted brother and sister, who are not biologically related, are looked down upon if they have sex.
So the ones who are related by blood can easily have sex with no problems but having sex while being related by name only is wrong. How messed up is that?
