Yep, I felt the same way. Yet reading the case histories that's not the case. Most people with past life recall recount average jobs and lives. Farming mostly since farming was what most people did.
As for the number of people then and now, that doesn't add up as that's assuming life only started here and ends here. Much more surprising case studies abound.
Same thing with ghosts. I never, ever would believe in ghosts but had to admit the phenom was real but what the real source is is still up in the air. I know many, many ghost hunters and wouldn't touch that job with a ten foot pole.
