What a load of self-righteous sanctmonous crap!
The only reason why Turkey is being given this load of crap is because they are Islamic.
Turkey has been a strong ally of the west.
It is a democratic nation.
They have thier house in order and there is no crap about human rights violations now.
Turkey has been player in Europe from the time of the Roman Empire. And add to this that the comments on "There needs to be a common approach to the way the E.U does things." Is just plain ignorant and blatent discrimination.
If it was Canada asking for membership, they would be bending over backwards to prove why it has a claim.
