Plus I am gone half the week to university so I only see her half the week so I want her to have something nice to look at any time she misses me.

It's an inexpensive way to show I care - and I don't think a teddy bear would have the effect I want it to have.

I'm not getting engaged yet, need to give it at least another 37 days.
