A little behind the power curve there, aren't we? I head to Reno every year (just got back) for the International Air Races (Redbull course included). It's usually the second week of September. You can see what I mean at http://www.airrace.org .

Airliners cruise around 525mph. Check out the course speeds of the Unlimited Class, over the last 2-3 years. And this is by prop, people! All this occurs about 1-200 feet off the ground and right in front of you. Not a shitty seat in the crowd! I especially laugh when they drop off the general's car. You may have a "Blackbird" flyby, or a Stealth, you just never know. "RareBear" is my favorite!

Yes, World's Fastest Motor Sport. Definitely beats the shit outta NASCAR (sorry, guys, Nascar is my #2.).
