I'm finding that the older I get (I'll be 34 on the 11th), the less I spend. I actually enjoy being somewhat frugal and saving every penny I can for investments or business expansion. I guess after years of accumulation, my needs are diminishing.
I don't have a terribly expensive home, but it is in a prime location across the street from Lake Michigan. I built it in 1993 for $192,000 and paid it off within 10 years. It was recently appraised at $345,000 so my only real personal liabilities are insurance, taxes, and general living expenses.
