I watch it too and have to say its refreshing to FINALLY see an intriguing series on TV.
OK .. did any of you notice these things:
In the original episodes Walt (the black child) was reading a comic book - if you paid attention the comic books cells told the story of the island. There was a plane wreck, a polar bear was attacking, and it showed 'the hatch' . Walt turned the page and he KNEW what the hatch was all about.
If you recall he warned them not to open it.
In this seasons premier he 'appeared' to the gal watching his dog and mumbled something almost incoherent unless played backwards - then you hear something like 'there's a button, button is bad, button is bad.'
Now that made me think of the 'execute' button on the old keyboard inside the hatch.
The man inside the bunker is indeed the man from the bleachers where Jack met him. To me he seems to think the world was going to come to an end and he is hold up with weapons, generators, fuel, food, boobie traps and failsafe (computer button) all rigged up for decades of survival.
The 'numbers' were Hurleys winning lotto but were given to him by a roommate at an insane assylm. That roommates wife claims those numbers ruined her husbands life.
Those same numbers were associated with the planes flight number as well as the flight number of the previous plane crash.
The french woman was shocked to hear Hurley mumbling them, she recognized them also and was frightened.
They are also associated with the felon girl as one matched the reward amount the Australian man got for turning her in.
I saw them on the hatch and on the wall inside the bunker.
Those numbers are the same that need to be entered into the bunkers failsafe computer to keep (the ultimate question is what) from happening.
Remember the guardian/centurian? I believe there was something about the numbers involved with his parameters also but I'm not clear on it yet.
I'm not sure but weren't some of those numbers also on the boat that stole Walt?
Now reading this you will probably think I am addicted to the show, I assure you I am not. I just HAPPEN to notice it every week ... REALLY!!! :D

;) lol
