The police shot and killed the guy, they are going to have to give specific information on what crimes he committed to justify the shootings. It will all be part of the public police records and investigations. That's the way the system works. It's an open justice system. In theory, that's so that people can try to make sure it doesn't get too corrupt.

The privacy protection the girls could have had is that they could have not released their names in the first place. How smart would that have been when they are trying to find them to save their lives?
