I am home to catch some rest, but here is the update. First off, both the baby and Jenn are perfectly healthy.
Jennifer started getting strong contractions at around 4am Tuesday Sept 27th..After debating to wake me up, she finally did around 5:30am, we sat around and finally made the choice to call our doctor and we head to the hospital at 7:30am. At that time she was in quite a bit of pain, but only 1 cm dilated and they were ready to send us home until out of no where her water broke. After many hours and many drugs, our doctor came in and took a look at Jenn, it did not take him long to realize that there were complications, the cord was wrapped around the babies head and wasn't enjoying the contractions. So he told us to get ready for a Cesarean Section. Jenn was great through all of this, and I sat in with her through the surgery, everything went perfect and our baby boy, Dakota Christopher Brewer, at 8:12pm that night was born!
Jennifer will be in the hospital until atleast Friday to recover along with our son. Today she was up and moving and feeling very well besides the obvious pains. I don't know what else to say, just that I hope everyone gets to experience something so great atleast once.
Oh, he weighed 6 pounds and 2 ounces...just a runt ;)
