Suprisingly enough those big machines run off of electricity. I know the bigger draglines and mining shovels do but I dont know about this bucketwheel excavator in particular. Chances are it does have deisel engines turning huge generators to operate the machine. Infact I'm almost positive it has, a hydralic setup on that would be very costly.
