Yup, that's a threat. You probably violated at least 1 law(federal + state) by making a threat via email, I'm sure you violated your ISPs AUP/TOS. :D
I'm not taking sides, I'm just advocating that you don't do anything that's gonna come back and bite you in the ass. (Like Bubba in Cell Block 2187).
