It's like that.... To finish with that I never said I'm like that. I said I suffered from that too when I got back and the only way to counter that is to do the same thing.

No I'm not going to do that. Pointing and snickering is childish and I out grew that by the time I was 9. There is a difference between "Laughing with you" and "Laughing at you."
Doing the same thing is only going to perpetuate the situation and ignorance. And to be honest, I find it better to walk away and associate with people that have a little more maturity.
It just appears that largely that here in France these people origionated from another culture and country.
Again I state that it is Rude, Ignorant and Childish. Two wrongs never make a right.

The only thing I didn't liked was the "maudit francais" but i answered them all the time: I came here to take your money and fuck your wifes...

I'm not trying to attack you or say you're not a great guy. But I don't tolerate people from Montreal laughing at my accent either. These jokes aren't funny because they needlessly ridicule.
They are in essence an attempt at one group of people to "Build themselves up" by putting others down.
My husband wants to spit on people for the "point and snicker" thing. I don't agree with it, but I can understand why he harbours that desire.
