been filming a massive piss test on patpong and silom soi 4 for french TV last friday , only one person was positive from what i saw . the cops told us that they are testing for extasy, meth, cocaine and heroine, plus they had two sniffer dogs with them.
from what the major general who was there told us , if you are on a tourist visa and get tested positive , you get a warning and get reposted to your embassy ( provided its your first offense ) if you are thai or are a legal expat you get charged for drug use in court. the top brass didn't elaborate wether you get thrown out of the country or not.
one sure thing is that i avoid taking anything illegal in thailand or else i don't go out for several days afterwards (they don't yet test the hair for drugs) so around five days is enough to get it all out of your system if you are just a recreational user.
