Now that fall is here I am more into the rib sticking style meals.
Tonight is beef stew.
Nice chunks of chuck cubbed and browned, then in a nice thick broth with pearl onions, carrots, potatoes, celery, button mushrooms, and turnips.
With some home made buttermilk biscuits, butter and local honey on side.
Then a few large glasses of cold whole milk in a frosty cold mug.
