If they are not kids under the age of 16 they are still dumb asses for being there. Also, anyone studying Judaism is asking for trouble too.
If you go deep into the woods and get attacked by a bear would you be surprised?
If you ran on the set of Oprah and called the audience 'dumb bitches' would you not expect to get mace sprayed in your face from 15 different women?
Same thing applies here.
