There comes a point when you sometimes have to choose between being in the right, and getting out safely. Bad choice this time around.

She phoned me when things started heating up. She was waiting for me to pick her up THERE. Unfortunately I live a half-hour drive from there. Maybe I didn't explain things well.
Stop blaming the victim... No matter what should have been done, the blame for this rests entirely on the attacker.
