Mr. Thumbs -- I don't get what you are even doing. You should apologize, feel bad, and hide. You did something *very* creepy. Not doing everything to make her feel comfortable, and to show you are sorry, is insane. Just privately tell her what you know. Don't get all stupid and cagey now.
Cheshire -- You are 100% in the right here. I would seriously consider pressing charges. This is one creepy man. The category for people like him who can't *see* what is wrong with what he did has a name... I think he fits the bill of both sociopath and psychopath perfectly.
