and about the beating dogs issue, i am certainly against that. You can spank a dog, but not beat the shit out of it, if the dog has done something wrong. That's reasonable. the master's commanding voice is the most important. Dogs would automatically know if they are being reprimanded or not. The relationship between you and your dog should be of friends.
