Depends on what you will be using the shit for, If you are using it to smear all over your face then your best bet would be fresh shit. You usually can find that in most neighborhood parks or if you have a fat lazy friend he should have some stuck to his butt hairs, check the next time he is asleep. But if just need a good paperweight then dried up shit from tv would work better.
